New Dogma 001: The First Three Years

Morning all. This one is nearly two and a half years in the making, but we’re proud to present the first print edition of New Dogma. Clocking in at 72 pages and in full color on glossy 80# paper, the weight of it feels about right in relation to the life force poured into this thing. Issue 001 is filled with editorials, essays, photos, and art from Forward’s Backwards Podcast host Keith Poniewaz, NDZ assistant editor Grant Pieters, Flock End photographer Chris Norris, and Forward fans flung near and far.

We’re hosting a release party of sorts at Robinia Courtyard on Saturday, August 13 before the Red Wolves match. Along with having copies for sale we’ll be spinning tunes, there will be an art and photo show, as well as some extras we’re still working on so stay tuned to our socials for more info. In the meantime (or if you can’t attend), you can preorder a copy for yourself by shooting $12 to our Venmo ($17 total for USPS delivery, please include your address in the payment notes). Note: local (non-shipping) preorders must either be picked up 8/13 at the Robinia release event, or 8/20 at the Forward Club at the NoCo watch party.

Preorder Info

We’re only printing 250 copies on this first run, here’s how you can lock yours in. First, head to our Venmo.

  • Local pickup: send us $12 for local pickup on either 8/13 or 8/20 as described above
  • Shipping: send us $17 for USPS shipping, and include your address in the payment notes.
    • If ordering more than one copy this way, email/DM us and we can invoice you with a reduced combined shipping cost.

The title, “The First Three Years” woefully underrepresents the happenings of 2019-2021 FMFC seasons, and mostly focuses on 2019 and 2020. We hope these pieces resonate with readers, FMFC supporters, and beyond – to the point where it motivates people to create and collaborate with us. We plan to tell many more stories from those first few seasons, and would love to hear/see yours. Thanks as always for reading, and we hope to see you at Robinia on 8/13!
